The premise for creating a new waste recycling complex in Australia is the factor that existing facilities can’t cope with the current volume of garbage: 50% of solid waste is sent to the countries of Southeast Asia (37 million tons of 67 million tons of garbage are exported per year) But in 2018, the Chinese government limited the import of garbage into its country due to the onset of an environmental threat, as a result of which Australia found itself in a difficult situation, and the government developed a program to introduce new technological waste recycling facilities in the main urban areas.
The developed plant project is based on the latest technologies for the disposal of solid waste: absorption of emitted CO2 and processing on an industrial scale, the use of an electrochemical reaction for the decomposition of substances, the minimum ash yield and the maximum processing of materials. The design concept is based on modular technology of prefabricated structures for easy adaptation of the building to any terrain and the required volumes of solid waste for further processing.
