SARATOV MASTER-PLAN

     The location of the territory of the new residential area determines the suburban format of life, the main values of which will be closeness to nature and a comfortable isolation of private life. Placing a theme park on the design site is becoming a key factor for the successful development of a high-quality and rich urban environment.      
     The open area of the theme park is a landscape area that permeates the entire territory. Together with boulevards and local squares, the park creates a continuous network of green spaces, woven into the urban fabric of the district.        
The closed part of the theme park provides an influx of visitors, which expands the range and availability of urban infrastructure. The result of the advantageous neighborhood of a residential area with a theme park is an area where the advantages of individual housing with private plots are combined with the availability of trade, services and public transport within walking distance.        
       The project of a new residential area is located on the border of Saratov and includes a city park, a thematic entertainment complex of a regional level and a variety of residential buildings with the necessary infrastructure. The master plan was created according to the principles of the suburban model of the «Standard for the Development of Free Territories» (https://www.minstroyrf.ru/docs/18285/) and is an attempt to take a fresh look at the residential area, to check the possibility of implementing such urban planning concepts in the existing legislative space.
