My name is Vladimir Karmanov. I’m an urbanist, architect and designer. I studied at the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering for amaster's degree in urban planning and the Kiev External University of Civil Engineering and a bachelor's degree in construction. I worked in such wonderfulcompanies as Strelka KB, Mosinzhproekt, AECOM. And currently I'm the chief architect of the Archystra company.
       I became interested inarchitecture back in school, based on my experience of reading books, watchingmovies and traveling. At that time, I tried to implement my ideas throughmodeling and graphics at art school. But I received consistent involvement inthe development of the project at the second stage, when I gradually createdmasterpieces of postmodernist architecture, after which I began to participatein various competitions and develop my portfolio.
       Oddly enough, I oftendevote my free time to architecture, research in the field of urbanism, newprograms, training and the use of AI in projects, I love to develop myintellectual and creative skills. I am also interested in classical and modernliterature, especially in the genres of artistic philosophy and social fiction.Between literature and going to the conservatory, I often play digital games,many of which motivate and lift my spirits. As for active recreation, I preferswimming and hiking in the mountains, when possible).
       In the professional direction,I strive to hone my skills in the field of urban management and planning, studying research in the field of GIS data, methods of collecting andtransforming information in the environment, the experience of an internationalschool, including sociology, artificial intelligence technologies and robotics.
